Gambel Oak; because I can be trained to be a tree or a shrub; I can be trained to do anything!

Why should someone be a Plant & Landscape Systems major?
It prepares you right out of school to attend the graduate school of your choice (of course only if you have the grades and preparation) OR you are able and prepared to start a career in the landscape industry right out of school.

Tell us of a recent adventure:
Chelsea and I attended the first Landscape study abroad in spring 2022. It was amazing! 2 weeks in France, 2 weeks in France, 2 weeks in England, and 2 weeks in Scotland. It was an incredible experiences with Dr. Geary's family and an incredible group of 18 students!
