Favorite book:
I keep going back to "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People" by Covey. The principles are as relevant today as when the book was first published decades ago.
Favorite movie:
I'm sleep deprived, so anything that helps me fall asleep- Pixar movies, for example (love them when I'm awake too).
Favorite hobby:
"The road to riches begins with a dirt trail" (I read that in Backpacker magazine).
Favorite joke:
My then 3-year-old granddaughter heard her mother talking about pioneers. She said “Pie in your ear—that’s silly”

Wherever my feet or non-battery bicycle can take me.
Why should someone be a Plant & Landscape Systems major?
Students who love to be outside should at least consider Plant & Landscape Systems. The professional opportunities are phenomenal with this degree, which comes as a surprise to most parents.
