Gambel Oak; because I can be trained to be a tree or a shrub; I can be trained to do anything!

Why should someone be a Plant & Landscape Systems major?
It prepares you right out of school to attend the graduate school of your choice (of course only if you have the grades and preparation) OR you are able and prepared to start a career in the landscape industry right out of school.

I'm not sure, but I think my wife would like it if I were an obedient plant (Physostegia virginiana)

There is peace and solace in working with living plants, even when making money doing so. These two virtues are rare in the modern workplace.
