Thanks to the combined efforts of two BYU engineering capstone teams and a group of theatre and media arts students, the beloved mascot Cosmo is getting an animatronic counterpart in the theatre department.

A moving story portraying a family’s plight with pride, forgiveness and humility will be depicted in “The Mill on the Floss,” opening Nov. 3.

After five years of work BYU has obtained the rights for the production. In preparation for the performance, seats were removed from the Pardoe Theatre to make room for a track that will run through the audience.
