With the recently released general handbook of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, the Church Educational System has updated the CES Honor Code to be in alignment with the doctrine and policies of the Church.
The BYU Honor Code Office has changed the way it contacts students and tracks the progress and outcomes of its work.
BYU’s Honor Code Office updated the website HonorCode.BYU.edu today with additional student resources and information about Honor Code Office procedures.
Over the last several months, the leadership of BYU’s Honor Code Office has been meeting with students to address concerns that have been raised over Honor Code Office processes. In a letter to students, HCO Director Kevin Utt explains some of the changes that have been made to date as a result of those conversations and an ongoing review of Honor Code Office procedures:
Brigham Young University has now addressed the 23 recommendations put forward by the Advisory Council on Campus Response to Sexual Assault a year and a half ago and has approved its updated sexual misconduct policy.
