Brigham Young University has formalized its amnesty policy, following a recommendation made by the Advisory Council on Campus Response to Sexual Assault in October. Since that time, BYU has been operating under the amnesty guidelines outlined by the council. The university has also closed its campus climate survey and is reporting an overall completion rate of 42.8 percent.
BYU Women’s Services and Resources, Title IX team up for National Sexual Assault Awareness Month
Tiffany Turley, the manager of BYU’s Women’s Services and Resources, has been named as the university’s new Title IX coordinator. Additionally, Lisa M. Leavitt, a psychologist who has worked in BYU’s student counseling center for more than a decade, has been named as a full-time advocate for victims of sexual assault.
