The BYU Department of Theatre and Media Arts explores a variety of styles, genres and stories in a dynamic new series of gripping dramas, theatre for young audiences, and a whimsical musical by Frank Wildhorn. 

L.M. Montgomery’s classic “Anne of Green Gables” inspires imagination through original music in BYU's new production

A moving story portraying a family’s plight with pride, forgiveness and humility will be depicted in “The Mill on the Floss,” opening Nov. 3.

After five years of work BYU has obtained the rights for the production. In preparation for the performance, seats were removed from the Pardoe Theatre to make room for a track that will run through the audience.

Based on the Salem witch trials, the play emphasizes the danger a fear-based society can create and its potential to destroy lives.
