One of BYU’s very own is the best student photographer in all the land. Information systems student Matthew Norton was just named the Student Photographer of the Year by the University Photographer’s Association of America.
As a senior graduating in design with an emphasis in photography, Mario Alcauter knows that a great photo is all about perspective.

However, even the most sophisticated lens has limitations when compared to the human eye. BYU Professor Paul Adams found the same is true when taking on a seemingly straight forward photography assignment: there is often more than what you had expected to see through the lens.
Paul Adams, professor of photography, will be speaking Wednesday, Jan. 12, at noon in 238 Herald R. Clark Building.
