At BYU's annual University Conference, President Worthen reflected on President Kimball's Second Century Address and shared a new statement on belonging.
In his general session address, President Kevin J Worthen encouraged faculty and staff to continue to push forward through the circumstances brought on by the coronavirus pandemic. 
Speaking to BYU faculty and staff, President Kevin J Worthen reflected on a prophecy from John Taylor and shared how to use learning to become more Zion-like.
BYU’s mission and destiny to become a great university through unique means should lead all who work and study at the university to continue forward with inspiring learning.

Elder David A. Bednar, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, urged employees to rely on the Holy Ghost and the spiritual gift of revelation.

President Kevin J Worthen tells BYU faculty and staff to focus on creating opportunities that both inspires students to learn and provides inspiration for more learning. 

“The product of the mind is our business. [However,] it is more the heart than the mind that defines us," said Academic VP Brent Webb, on success at BYU comes by being thoughtful and heartfelt.

“We need to educate more deeply and more powerfully than we have ever done before or than anyone has ever done,” said Elder Kim B. Clark, commissioner of the Church Educational System, to faculty and staff at BYU.

 When President Henry B. Eyring spoke at Inauguration last September, President Worthen gained three important insights.
