BYU International Vice President Sandra Rogers announced today the appointment of V. Stanley Benfell as the new director of the David M. Kennedy Center for International Studies and associate international vice president effective August 1.
The vast majority of courses will be offered in-person with full-capacity classrooms.
In this role, Hunt will assist in directing the work of the Office of Information Technology (OIT) at BYU and coordinating strategy and efforts with all Church Educational System institutions.
BYU Academic Vice President C. Shane Reese announced the appointment of three new deans today, including Richard D. Osguthorpe at the David O. McKay School of Education, Laura Padilla-Walker at the College of Family, Home, and Social Sciences and Adam T. Woolley as the dean of Graduate Studies.

Brigham Young University will implement a 2.5% increase for undergraduate tuition for the 2021–22 academic year. This will bring the undergraduate rate per semester from $2,985 to $3,060, an increase of $75.
Thanks to Arizona businessman and longtime BYU supporter Ira A. Fulton, there are now 10 endowed chairs named after Fulton family members at Brigham Young University – each in a different college. Six of the chairs are named in honor of Ira’s wife, Mary Lou, who passed away in 2015.

Brigham Young University President Kevin J Worthen announced today that the Committee on Race, Equity & Belonging (CoREB) has completed its study, which included numerous meetings with students, alumni, faculty, staff and administrators. Additionally, the university released today key findings from a national diversity and equity campus climate survey, which includes data from nearly 20,000 respondents.
Commencement exercises will be held on April 22, 2021.
