The daily live streams will feature the talented BYU Ballroom Dance Company, Living Legends, Vocal Point, Young Ambassadors, and the International Folk Dance Ensemble.
New forms and approaches will be illuminated in this year’s production of Ballet Showcase, exhibiting the new direction the world of ballet has been heading in recent years.
The five performing dance ensembles will unite in an evening of movement and diversity in what Dance Chair Curt Holman calls “the largest and most unique university dance program in the country.”
The Fall DanceWorks Concert features students who are enrolled year-round in the BYU Children and Teens Creativ Dance Program.
The showcase features the finest ballroom dancing from university students and the surrounding intermountain west competitors.
Ballet Showcase features eleven BYU ballet dancers performing beautiful, engaging choreography by faculty and students in both classical and contemporary ballet.
Performance Dates and Times: Feb. 5-6 and Mar. 24, at 7:30 p.m.
The BYU Ballroom Dance Company, Living Legends, Theatre Ballet, The International Folk Dance Ensemble and Contemporary Dance Theatre joined on stage to perform at Tuesday's Dance Devotional.
