Maquelle is an Environmental Science major in the Soil Science and Conservation Track. Environmental Science is a major in the Plant and Wildlife Science Department. She is minoring in international development.
She looks forward to a future career which may include the Peace Corp, or other opportunities to implement regenerative agriculture systems in developing countries.
Maquelle is from Las Vegas, NV and was driven to pursue agriculture and sustainable systems after seeing only the less than sustainable golf courses of her homeland. Maquelle enjoys midnight strolls, spontaneous road trips and climbing mountains. She is also enjoys Mediterranean cooking, baked goods sweetened with honey, gardening and urban agriculture.
