Heather was born and raised in Tacoma, Washington. She feels most at home in nature and is continually excited by an enhanced understanding of the systems of creation that comes through balanced learning. Heather has a strong desire to improve the world around us through enhanced stewardship, personal responsibility and the application of science and technology.
Heather has enjoyed learning about climate change and human disruptions to the earth's cycles which harm the environment. This enhanced understanding propels her to learn and apply better science and policy for our earth. She is excited to learn about applied hydroponics and the proper sanitation procedures for controlled environment growth in the term.
Heather is a certified yoga instructor and enjoys hiking and rock climbing in her free time.
