Hanna Burgin is an Environmental Science master’s student conducting research about water conservation through sustainable landscaping in Utah. She graduated with a BS in Environmental Science from BYU in 2019 and spent most of her undergraduate career working on a biofuels research project using microbes to convert waste streams into renewable energy. Hanna hopes to use her varied background to educate companies and communities about becoming more sustainable. Hanna hails from the Las Vegas area and enjoys hiking, cooking new foods, biking, learning about different cultures, doing yoga, watching movies, and spending time with her growing family.
