Dr. Matt Arrington is an applied plant scientist and whole plant physiologist specializing in fruiting crops and controlled environment systems. Prior to coming to BYU he worked for the indoor agriculture start-up Plenty. Matt is interested research and student opportunities for exploring hydroponic plant growth, sustainable systems and in reducing barriers to healthy produce globally.

Matt and his wife Maren and their two boys enjoy hiking and camping (especially if there is water nearby). They enjoy playing board games together and all manner of home gardening and small holder farming.
