Elizabeth McLaughlin is an undergraduate student studying Bioinformatics. She is from Houston, Texas, and loves the mountains, trees, and all the beautiful nature that she gets to appreciate in Utah. She currently is a part of a project that is researching cyanobacterial blooms in Utah Lake. After her undergrad, Elizabeth is planning on beginning a career; she hopes to find a job where she can utilize not only her computer science knowledge, but also her education in molecular biology and genomics.
