Carson Thompson is an undergraduate student from eastern Washington studying Environmental Science. He is currently leading a research project investigating how sustainable agriculture incentive programs in Utah can be made more effective. His primary interests include sustainable agriculture and agroecology, the rhizosphere, and policy. His long term goal is to become a professor and do research that helps to make agriculture more sustainable in developing nations. In his free time he enjoys playing the guitar, fly fishing, backpacking, and disc golf.
