Environmental Services Profile Administrator

Description: The Environmental Services Profile Administrator will review DOT/Environmental compliance in all new and existing waste profiles, track all waste profiles and submitted to disposal facilities for approval and maintain all profiles in the SAP system. You will communicate and resolve issues with Customer Support and Field Sales Representatives and regularly contact ADC customers to resolve issues with Customer Support and Field Sales Representatives and regularly contact ADC customers to resolve compliance/environmental related issues. You will negotiate with the disposal vendors to obtain better costs and reduce the overall vendor base. Other duties will include developing standardized processes and managing cost structure of purchase contacts. Initially the duties and responsibilities associated with this position will be 100 % fieldwork related. This position will reform a wide variety of filed tasks including: groundwater sampling, collection of groundwater levels, on-site supervision of subcontractors during monitoring well drilling/installation and cone penetration testing, and other field related duties as assigned. Because of the inherent nature of fieldwork the position will work in a wide variety of environmental conditions (i.e. extreme summer and winter conditions) and may require physical exertion. Field days can be 10 to 12 hours in duration. There will also be analysis of data and report preparation.

GIS specialist

Environmental Engineer

Description: Assist in Integrating Training Area management (ITAM) program coordinator and the Directorate of Plans, Training, Mobilization and Security staff with continued implementation of the LRAM program. Develop and implement plans for land repair, erosion control, riparian restoration, maneuver damage, assessments and resource monitoring. Environmental Specialist

Description: Provide lead management of the Alaska Army National Guard (AKARNG) Range Cleanup Program, associated projects and initiatives, as well as direct installation support as part of the US Army MMRP. Function as the installation’s lead technical representative for MMRP implementation and, under administrative direction, represent command interests in matters related to the program’s execution. The position shall interact on behalf of the installation with the MMRP proponent agents (US Army Environmental Command, National Guard Bureau), the executing agents (US Army Corps of Engineers, National Guard Bureau, US Property and Fiscal Office for Alaska), The regulatory agents (USEPA, State of Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation), Contractors, and the AKARNG Environmental office. Environmental Scientist

Description: Leads or advises environmental, social, and health impact assessments. Environmental Scientist

Description: Kelly Scientific Resources is looking for individuals with a strong background in GC/MS to work in Reidsville, NC. This position is project based, 1-2 months duration or until the project is completed. Will be doing some semi-volatile testing as well as analyzing organic compounds. Must have a strong background working in Environmental Sciences and a good understanding of EPA regulations. Hours are from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm.

Environmental Consultant

Description: Execution and management of permitting and regulatory compliance projects associated with sitting, construction, and modification of oil and gas transmission, storage, and distribution facilities as well as a variety of industrial and chemical plants. Assist in regulatory research, data collection and analysis.

Requirements: 4-year related science or engineering degree. 4 to 8 years of relative work experience. Knowledge of endangered species, soil science, GPS technology, natural resources management agencies etc.

Environmental Consultant (Regulatory Support-water emphasis)

Description: Obtaining various state, federal and local permits. Assessing environmental impacts of projects, preparation and review of technical documents, project documents. Gathering and analyzing data for Field Analysis on existing aquatic environments. Supervise sub-consultants conducting water body surveys, water quality analysis, stream and habitat surveys and identifying sources fisheries.

Requirements: BS/BA degree in a natural science or environmental field of study, preferably focusing on biology, ecology…etc. 5 to 7 years of experience.

Ecological Resource Specialist

Description: Native wetland and prairie plant installation, tree and shrub installation, Brush cutting and hauling, Installation of erosion control materials, Herbicide applications under the direction of a certified applicator, seeding and straw mulch applications, operation of landscaping equipment like chainsaws, tractors, etc, record keeping and report generation, GPS surveys, assistance in wetland delineation and habitat surveys, fire management etc.

Requirements: BA/BS or pursuit of such a degree in a natural science.

Environmental Compliance Coordinator

Description: Monitoring and inspecting the cement plant, quarry, resource recovery dept, and related facilities to ensure compliance with environmental permits and regulations; review new regulations, environmental registers, and the environmental industry in general for potential impact at keystone; complete applications for federal/state environmental permits; accompany EPA/State personnel during agency inspections at the facility; ensure fuels comply with environmental permits, control/monitoring systems to ensure compliance with MCAT.

Requirements: 4 year degree in environmental science, chemistry, or engineering; related discipline plus relevant work experience will be considered. Minimum of 4 years experience in environmental, chemistry engineering or related field.

Geologist or Environmental Scientist

Description: Case management activities which may include client involvement, work plan and proposal preparation for assessment and remediation sites, project coordination, and report preparation with an emphasis on meeting quality, technical, excavation and other field activities. May include some field oversight of subcontractors and/or directing junior staff in the oversight of soil boring activities, monitoring well installations, excavation and other field activities.

Requirement: BS degree in Geology, hydrology, or environmental science.

Staff Scientist

Description: Perform selected field support activities. Support various project team members. Assisting senior consultants with data analyses. Preparing reports, proposals and work plans.

Requirements: BS degree is environmental science toxicology or geology. Minimum four to five years working in a consulting environment with emphasis in ecological risk assessment.

Acid Sulfate Soil Scientist

Description: To lead acid sulfate soils investigation and management projects across a wide range of industrial, infrastructure and development projects. Developing Acid Sulfate Soils Management Plans, development and implementation of Acid Sulfate Soil Remediation Plans, integration of acid sulfate soil with geotechnical, environmental and contaminated land projects, support to mine rehabilitation studies.

Requirements: Grad qualifications in a relevant discipline soil science, environmental science, or geology.

Senior Environmental Scientist

Description: The leadership of a team of environmental scientist/engineers and technicians and management of ESAs and site remediation projects/ environmental projects.

Requirement: BSc, BEng, or MSc level education in earth science, hydrology, civil engineering or other.

Senior Soil Scientist

Description: Manage projects, Assist in business development and growth of the soils and terrain analysis business.

Requirements: Graduate qualifications in soil science, soil physics, and/or soil chemistry. 7 years minimum experience.

Senior Environmental Scientist

Description: The role will involve the leadership of a team of environmental scientists/engineers and technicians and management of ESA and site remediation projects/environmental projects. It is also anticipated that business development (bid preparation, client network development etc) will be a significant component of this position, and a proven track record in this area.

Requirements: Bsc, BEng or Msc level education in earth science, hydrology, civil engineering or other.

Description: Lead a professional staff within the soil and groundwater services technical team dedicated to contamination land investigation, assessment and remediation.
