I am a PhD student at BYU working to optimize anaerobic digestion. As part of this process, somedays you can find me scooping manure out of a cow's pen, and on other days, I am found in a sterile lab extracting DNA. On all days, I hope to make advances in the field of wastewater treatment.

Sarah Chan
Sarah Chan is a PhD student from Minnesota who has been in the Aanderud lab for two years. She leads the Dust project and is interested in exploring different aspects of dust movement in Utah. In her free time, she enjoys crocheting, baking, and playing pickleball with her husband.

I am an undergraduate student studying Bioinformatics and it's applications in biochemistry and microbiology. I am currently managing a project on the biosynthesis of high yield combustable fuel via anaerobic digestion of organic wastes.
