Biography


Tabitha is from Post Falls, Idaho and joined the lab in Winter 2018. She enjoys hiking camping, reading, and bushcraft. She is currently working on sage-grouse captures, transmitter retrieval, and chemical analysis of sagebrush from sage-grouse habitat. Following graduation, Tabitha plans to attend graduate school and pursue a PhD in Wildlife Conservation. Her favorite animal is the stingray.

Erik is from Newport, WA. He has been in the lab since Winter 2017. He loves fishing and hunting for large game and shed antlers. Erik is currently working on deer and elk collar retrieval as well as preparing supplies for helicopter captures. He is currently a Junior and his favorite animal is an elk.

Morgan joined the lab in fall of 2017. She is a sophomore from Tooele, Utah and enjoys hunting, fishing, riding horses, and spending time with her dog, Jager. She currently works on cementum, the wildlife capture database, deer and elk collar retrieval, and trail camera photo analysis. Upon graduating, she hopes to attend grad school at BYU studying large ungulates. Her favorite animal is a moose.

Biography


Sydney is from Spanish Fork, Utah. She is currently studying mule deer ecology with the hope of becoming a wildlife biologist for the state of Utah. She enjoys hunting, trapping, hiking, reading, and dreaming of becoming a rancher. She has previous experience working as a Northern Goshawk technician on the Ashley National Forest, and as an intern for the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources. Sydney served an LDS mission in Chile.
