Lab Events

In the St Clair Lab, social and human connections are very important to us. We want to include everyone in our projects. Thus, we try to host social and learning activities weekly and monthly to harbor genuine friendships and understanding.

Salsa Spill

Looking for a place to share your thoughts, connect with others, and dive into meaningful discussions? Join us for Salsa "Spill", a weekly gathering where students from all walks of life come together to share what's on their minds. We'll talk about the issues that matter most to you—from personal experiences to pressing topics that shape our world. This is your chance to be heard, connect deeply, and understand one another in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Who: Anyone and everyone!
When: Wednesdays, 4:00-4:40 PM
Stick around after! From 4:40-5:15, we’ll have a lab meeting to discuss our current and upcoming projects. We’d love your input!
Where: LSB 5015

Tea Time Thursdays

Join us for a weekly gathering in Sam St Clair’s office, where you can bring your lunch and/or enjoy complimentary herbal tea and hot chocolate! This is a great opportunity to connect, chat about research, ask questions, or just take a break from your studies in a welcoming and relaxed space. If you can’t make it to our salsa spills and lab meetings, this is a perfect chance to catch up and stay up to date on projects!

Who: You don’t need to be a lab member; everyone is welcome!
When: Every Thursday, 1PM
Where: LSB 4124
