Water Conservation in Irrigated Agriculture

Our aim is to advance understanding and adoption of management strategies for sustainable use of soil and water resources. This theme has led to work on use of soil sensors, precision variable rate irrigation, crop rotations, tillage practices, and interactions of irrigation and fertilizer management.

Our research is conducted at multiple sites over multiple years at a field scale with an emphasis on improving crop water productivity. We also prioritize research synthesis that informs water policy and conservation strategy
