About 61% of Americans have had at least one Adverse Childhood Experience (ACE), experts’ formal term for a traumatic childhood event. Two recent BYU studies analyzed how ACEs shape adolescents’ delinquent behaviors as well as fathers’ parenting approaches.

Thanks to Arizona businessman and longtime BYU supporter Ira A. Fulton, there are now 10 endowed chairs named after Fulton family members at Brigham Young University – each in a different college. Six of the chairs are named in honor of Ira’s wife, Mary Lou, who passed away in 2015.
