A graduate assistantship at the M.S. level in Turfgrass Management is available for a qualified candidate to begin research in August 2014. Research will focus on turfgrass weed ecology. The candidate must be highly motivated to pursue an advanced degree and have a B.S. in turfgrass science, plant science, agronomy, horticulture, or related field. They must also have an interest in conducting practical field based research pertaining to a range of topics and the ability and willingness to obtain a Mississippi driver’s and pesticide applicator’s license.

This is a funded assistantship in the Department of Plant and Soil Science at Mississippi State University in Starkville, MS. Tuition waiver, yearly graduate stipend, and health benefits are provided.
