MS graduate student assistantship is available at the Department of Crop and Soil Science at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon. The project is focused on soil acidity testing methods that are used to support lime recommendations, with opportunities to work in field and lab environments. The applicant must have a BS degree in a science discipline. Completed coursework in chemistry and soil science disciplines is preferred. Valid driver’s license is required. The assistantship carries an annual salary of $22,173 with tuition and fees paid through the program. Health insurance coverage will be provided. The position requires the student to provide teaching support to soil science courses throughout the completion of the degree.
